Course Objectives

The course presents the basic principles of forming multiple OFDM carriers, technical multiple access OFDMA, Turbo coding for wireless broadband networks, wireless access networks, WiMAX, WiMAX-Mobile, Wi-Fi and LTE-Advanced. The course focuses on the analysis and understanding of the physical layer and MAC layer of WiMAX and Wi-Fi systems. The course presents as well the local DQDB wide area networks (Networks Distributed Queue Dual Corridor, IEEE 802.6)
