Course Objectives:

The course presents the basic concepts necessary for the understanding of Telecommunication Systems. Emphasis is given to the presentation of the key analog modulation schemes (amplitude modulation AM, in FM frequency modulation), the effect of noise in the signals, the processes of modulation and demodulation, the techniques used in the design of transmitters and receivers for Telecommunications Systems.
